2st International Haedong Kumdo Workshop in Bonn with
GRANDMASTER KIM JEONG SEONG
On November 13, 14 and 15, 2025 the 2st International Haedong Kumdo Seminar will take place in Bonn. For this we have invited the Grandmaster Kim Jeong Seong from South Korea. He is holder of the 9th Dan of this wonderful sword art and founder of the Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu style.
This workshop is for all people who train Haedong Kumdo. But also for people with knowledge in a martial art style that is not Haedong Kumdo or the Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu style, the workshop offers interesting content to get to know swordart, the style and the Grandmaster.

Training content
Ki-Mu
The Ki-Mu training is a training without a sword to feel the flow of the own inner power and to learn to lead the sword with just this power from the body center. This course is open to all interested
One sword training
This training is suitable for all levels and also for participants without previous knowledge and other martial arts. Basic techniques and forms with one sword are practiced
Two sword training
We will work on basic techniques as well as on forms In the style Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu we put an emphasis on working with two swords.
Sword dance and competition rules
In this seminar session, we will develop free movement sequences. We will also learn about the criteria used in the sword dance competition and in other competition categories.
Black belt training
The black belt training is reserved for the black belt holders and black belt canditates (0. Keub) and serves as preparation for the next dan exam.
Black belt exam
If you want to participate in a black belt exam, please contact your instructor or national representative in time. Before the exam an official Dan application form with a photo and an essey written by you on a topic given by Grandmaster Kim Jeong Seong must be sent from your instructor to him.
